Catering Options

The following menu options are available for all private cruises for up to 50 guests (prices for 2010)

CREAM TEA - from £12.50

Fresh homemade fruited scones still warm from the oven, local cream, strawberry jam, and butter. And, of course, a pot of tea or coffee with fresh milk.

AFTERNOON TEA - from £14.50 per person

An assorted tray of tasty sandwiches on both fresh white and brown bread, served with a salad garnish. Fresh homemade fruited scones are then served, with local cream and strawberry jam and butter. A pot of tea or coffee accompanies this - with a top up if required!

LUNCH - from £15.50 per person (2course and 3 course option available)

A choice of hand carved local Ham, Chicken Breast, Pork Pie, Vegetarian Quiche, Cheese & Pickle or Tuna Mayonnaise. Served with a fresh Garden Salad, homemade Coleslaw, homemade Potato Salad, Bread Roll and butter. A refreshing homemade dessert. Tea or Coffee then follows.

MATE’S BUFFET - (desserts are also available)

A buffet table at the front of the boat is set up, with a wide range of platters. Enjoy our local hand carved Lakeland Ham, Roast Beef, Chicken Drumsticks, local Pork Pies, Deep Filled Vegetarian Quiches, Sausage Rolls, Baby Sausages, Crudités and Dips, and a selection of chefs salad bowls. A basket of fresh bread rolls and butter, a variety of cheeses on the board and biscuits. Coffee, is also served. Maximum of 40 guests.

CAPTAIN’S BUFFET - (Desserts also available)

The buffet table at the front of the boat will display the following platters; A whole poached salmon, dressed with cucumber, lemons, and prawns. Handcarved Local Lakeland Ham, Roast Beef, a selection of deep filled vegetarian quiches, and chef’s own salad bowls. Fresh Bread Rolls, and butter, and a variety of cheeses on the board and biscuits.  Coffee and Mints are then served. Maximum of 40 guests.

For any Cava or Champagne, to toast a celebration, just ask at the booking office, and we can provide this for you at a small charge.  Pimms and Bucks Fizz are also available.
