Best Boat Trips to Book – Friday Evening Fish & Chips Cruise

The Sunday Times Best Boat Trips

Our very popular Friday Evening Fish & Chips cruise with food from Bizzie Lizzie’s was recently featured in The Sunday Times Best Boat Trips to Book. Check out the article online: (paywall) and then if you’re visiting Skipton you can experience the cruise by going here: We can and do regularly cater for large groups up to 46 on most days of the week. We’ve even hosted a couple of fantastic weddings with this menu choice.

Sample two of Skipton’s most popular attractions together!

Skipton Boat Trips have teamed up with Bizzie Lizzie’s to offer you an unforgettable experience on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal. Departing from our wharf in Skipton’s picturesque canal basin, you’ll travel along the canal, where drinks from our fully licensed bar, including a range of local beers, will be served to your table.

You’ll then be served award-winning Yorkshire fish and chips, with the option of that Northern staple, mushy peas! Meals come right out of Bizzie Lizzie’s straight to your table all piping hot and freshly wrapped. As you enjoy your meal, you’ll travel through the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, arriving back in Skipton after two hours, feeling content and well fed!

A gluten-free alternative and the choice of sausage instead of fish is also available.
