THE man in red will be making his annual trips along Skipton canal basin on board the Cobbydale and this year marks his 20th year of visiting.

Santa Claus will be on Cobbydale to officiate at Skipton Boat Trips’ festive events starting on Saturday, November 26.

Organiser and owner of Skipton Boat Trips, James Watson, said the Santa Trips run at 11.15am and 1.15pm each weekend from that date up to December 18 where each child receives a gift and everyone can enjoy Christmas music, drinks, mince pies and cookies.

The festive trips have built up a loyal customer base, many of them returning each year to soak up the magic.
