A Fantastic Pie & Mash Cruise with Pigeon Travel

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Pigeon Travel aboard Skipton Boat Trips for one of our ever-popular Pie & Mash Cruises — and what a fantastic evening it was!

A total of 46 guests joined us for a relaxing cruise along the beautiful Leeds & Liverpool Canal, enjoying stunning Yorkshire scenery, great company, and of course plenty of delicious food.

For the main course, guests were served award-winning pies from the renowned local butchers Drakes & Macefield, a favourite choice on many of our dining cruises. The evening was then rounded off perfectly with a comforting dessert of Apple Crumble & Ice Cream, which proved to be a huge hit with everyone onboard.

The atmosphere throughout the cruise was brilliant, with lots of smiles, laughter, and glowing feedback from the group. We’re delighted to say that Pigeon Travel enjoyed the experience so much that they have already booked to return this summer for another Pie & Mash Cruise.
